It was like rice bubbles. Some form of tea I believe.

Some sticky rice pudding thing.

Yao tribe. Long hair people.
They are in the Guinness World Records for their long hair.

My friend was chased to buy some blanket after i had bought mine out of freewill.

She didn't give up!

My new souvenir and my soft toy collection.
Toys from all over Asia.

Amazing scenery. As far as the eye could see.

 A bit of a hike to the top of the mountain/hill. But well worth it.

The China Chronicles Day 9 - Yangshuo & XingPing- Photo

Mobile Photos of Guilin & Yangshuo

After a busy day 8, we had a bit of a relaxing morning in Yangshuo. We were suppose to take the boat up Li River to Guilin. The following day we are meant to take a train to Kunming.

We did manage to take the boat after some China magic. No idea but we got driven rally style through farms to a little jetty. From here we jumped onto the boat.

What we did on day 8:

#Yangshuo
[Day 8 S]
-> Bamboo Raft to Fuli
-> Light shows
-> Silver Caves

What we did today:

[Day 9 S]
-> Yangshuo Walkabout
-> Li River Cruise
-> Took a boat back then a bus back to Guilin passing through XingPing (super lucky to make it back to Guilin, no idea how we did it)
-> Dinner in Guilin with some friends we met in Yangshuo

As you can see our walk about bears fruit.

I think it was called dragon head lookout?

Pretty hungry so decided to pack some snacks before we take the boat.

Spicy noodles before we set sail.

 Saying bye to Serena.

Our pickup? It was a scooter. haha, I thought it was gonna be a mini bus. We had to walk for 20mins.
(i think they thought we would get lost, hence the help) we were heading for the jetty.

We made it!
After some interesting cross country rally driving we hijacked the boat.

New friends from China. But studying in HK.
They are on school holidays and touring Guilin.

Cruise photos.

Most people stayed inside the boat. They ventured out when the man over the sound system said something in Chinese. I'm assuming he was referring to some important sights.
e.g. 9 horses rock etc

This cruise is famous because the scenery is depicted on the Chinese bill. 20Yuan note.
