Kyoto With Shinya-san

Hmmm what can i say @_@ It was over run by tourists...If you been to Cambodian Angkor wat in the last couple of years you know what I mean.
You have to fight to get a clear photo lol.
After coming from Kyushu where the sites are just as lovely but less tourists it’s a bit dis-heartening.
When I travel I like to feel that not many tourists have seen what I seen.  But when going to Kyoto it feels as if everyone that comes to Japan visits Kyoto.

Driving to Kyoto from Hyogo!

Golden Pavilion!

But it was worth it, got to catch up with Shinya.  Went to see Kyoto Golden Temple (Kinkaku-ji) and a rock garden (Ryoanji)

Ryoanji Temple is the site of Japan's most famous rock garden, which attracts hundreds of visitors every day. Originally an aristocrat's villa during the Heian Period, the site was converted into a Zen temple in 1450 and belongs to the Myoshinji school of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism, whose head temple stands just a kilometer to the south.

My friend says that you sit in front of the rock garden to absorb energy.

And now for curry lunch :D
Have a craving for curry ever since Kagoshima, I have been in love...It was good but not as good!
