#Osaka to Koyasan (maybe 3hours)
[Day 6 T]
->train and chairlift to Koya
->walk the mountain and the tombs
Koyasan can be reached from Namba Station in Osaka. I believe there is alternative routes near to Wakayama. Pretty regular trains, just be weary of the last bus from Koyasan Station to the city
Koyasan Guest house Kokuu, another place that was really unique and welcoming. I enjoyed staying here and would love to stay during winter when there is snow.
Leaving the city is why I go to Japan. The country side is one of a kind
We purchased a special pass that included train and cable car. Then you take a bus to the main city
Home made curry :) Which was also very good!
<- this bread, is by far the best i have every tried.
OMG it was amazing
Such a simple breakfast but so divine
Koyasan is above sea level, you take a special cable car to get there. There is a hike through the forrest you can attempt :)
We woke up at 5am for the morning prayers. The vocals cant be explained, you must visit and hear for yourself.
#Koyasan to Shizuoka (half days travel)
[Day 7 W]
->5am for morning prayers
->check out the temples
->set off for Shizuoka
->Dinner with Madoka-san and mum
->Long hard pack for Fuji
