#Jiuzhaiguo
[Day 3 M, 4 T and 5 W]
-> Travel to Jiuzhaigou [1 of 3 days]
-> Jiuzhaiguo [1 of 3 days]
-> Tibet Minority Villages [1 of 3 days]

The cheapest food you can find within Jiuzhaiguo. Everything else is super pricey for what it is. The queue was HUGE! but nothing beats a super spicy bowl of noodles. I think it was about $4

We met one guy that was a talented artist, he drew this!

Some cowgirl wanted a photo with me HAHA.
Jiuzhaiguo was full of tourists from within China, I believe some have never seen white people? We were getting many looks as there was not many foreign tourists.
Some children were speaking with me also.

From memory Jiuzhaiguo is around 30km in length, so you have to take a bus from within the park to explore it all. Even with the bus and all day we just managed to see everything.

Someone taking a photo with an Ipad, disgusting.

Waterfall within the park. So tranqil

Our Tibetan meal. Yak butter tea and an assortment of never experienced items. From seeds to meats to bone marrow soups etc.

This girl could sing! Such beautiful voices. If i could buy a CD i would.

 Prayer piece flags.

We got to see a local performance. I was surprised at the quality. Was well worth the $30. I also bought some CDs, unfortunately it was the male singer and not the female singer :(

The girls have a beautiful high voice. I believe due to the high altitude.

This girls voiced filled the room.

I have no idea what the story is about :(

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (hereafter Chengdu Panda Base) is a non-profit organization engaged in wildlife research, captive breeding, conservation education, and educational tourism.

The Chengdu Panda Base was founded in 1987, with six giant pandas rescued from the wild. Today (2008) our captive population has increased to 83 individuals from that founding population of only six. Genetic diversity in the population is sustained by the exchange of preserved genetic material with other facilities.

We are very proud that we have not taken any giant pandas from the wild for 20 years. This demonstrates our unique and uncompromising commitment to the conservation of the wild ( in situ ) population and the healthy growth of the captive ( ex situ ) population

We took various busses to the Panda Centre, took about an hour and half

Super spicy hot pot with
Hot pot (simplified Chinese: 火锅; traditional Chinese: 火鍋; pinyin: huǒ guō), less commonly Chinese fondue or steamboat, refers to several East Asian varieties of stew, consisting of a simmering metal pot of stock at the center of the dining table. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table. Typical hot pot dishes include thinly sliced meat, leafy vegetables, mushrooms, wontons, egg dumplings, and seafood. Vegetables, fish and meat should be fresh.

The camoflauge entrance. It is walking distance to Bank of China where you can exchange money.
Do not exchange money with the security guy, I almost got scammed. There are a lot of fake notes in China. Which a tourist can't even tell
